Lemuria, also known as Motherland Mu, was and is an ancient civilization that existed physically as an enormous continent in the Pacific Ocean from approximately 98 000 B.C. to 8 000 B.C. long before and partially at the same time as Atlantis in the Atlantic Ocean. The people of Mu went thru many phases during their civilization, and are best known by their highly advanced culture and spirituality.

I met Rick Audette via the Lemuria mailing list where we discuss and exchange thoughts and ideas of Mu-related content, which includes many-sided spiritual discussion since spirituality is such a strong Lemurian element and building force. Rick, who lives in Plano, Texas, has for over 30 years studied the philosophy and principles that made Lemuria the greatest civilization to so far have existed on earth. He made a series of images picturing Motherland Mu using 3D Studio Max, working many long and late hours recreating the topography and colors, pixel by pixel. The images are based on a map that can be found in Robert D. Stelle's book The Sun Rises. I offered to be the cybercanvas for the paint of Rick's 'ancient art' so people could get a chance to experience a Muyan journey within the landscapes of the old and vast continent.

During our co-operation people were giving feedback of how they enjoyed Rick's pictures of work. Here's what the Muyan artist himself said: "As a lifelong Artist, I see the potential for artistry in everything. To stay efficient, I try to include some usefulness in the things I create. It is rewarding to know that so many found these useful. It will be interesting to watch as the links begin to form to your web pages. It's got to be good karma, being useful to so many, for free." My thoughts exactly :) Thank you Rick for letting me display your electronic art of our ancient past, which still affects, fascinates and motivates us today.
